Twelfth Night Beer Festival, 7th January 2011, 6.00 – 11.00 p.m and…

8th January 12.00 – 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 – 11.00 p.m.

No entry fee.  Beers less than £2.50 a pint.

This is our first attempt at a beer festival, so we’re relying on your usual dedicated support.  If you want to print off a few flyers and circulate them to potentially interested punters we’d be very pleased.  In keeping with the high cultural level of Eathorpe events, please note the Shakespearean reference to ‘Twelfth Night’.  Anyone wearing yellow, cross-gartered stockings might get a free pint – on the other hand …

Any monies made will go towards the Christmas Lights charities of ‘Help for Heroes’ and ‘Zoe’s Place’ (Coventry hospice for young children), and Village Hall funds.

We will have up to 12 barrels (including cider) – covering a range of strengths from 3.6% session beers to one or two much stronger ones.  The actual choices will be posted on our website in due course (www.eathorpe.org.uk).  The idea in the main is to provide beers you wouldn’t normally find in Warwickshire.  And there will be snacks available – burgers, pasties, pork pies etc.

(We are planning to negotiate rates with a taxi company, and details will also be posted on our website shortly.)
