Gonzo Moose presents: ‘IS THAT A BOLT IN YOUR NECK?’

Gonzo Moose presents:  ‘IS THAT A BOLT IN YOUR NECK?’
Saturday, 10th October 2009 – Eathorpe Village Hall – 7.30 for 8.30 p.m.
Described by the Edinburgh Fringe Revue as “Anarchic comedy theatre at its best”, this show will kick off the next Live and Local season.  They come highly recommended by Plested & Brown, who brought us ‘Health and Stacey’ and ‘Minor Spectacular’, so I think we can be confident of another night of quality mayhem.
“As lightening flashes across the sky, the rugged silhouette of an old dark house looms into view.  Lost in a storm this seems like the only possible refuge – but what happens when you hear mysterious moaning in the middle of the night?  Behind every door lurks unimaginable horror….”
So the scene is set and the spooky horror story unfolds.
This inventive and gripping comedy horror features three fearless actors performing over 30 characters in just 75 minutes of action with an array of excellent props as well as daft puppets. With comedy and thrills galore, you’ll gasp, laugh and be amazed at the horrific experiments, mind-boggling love and the sensational death-defying finale.
Founders Mark and Paschale trained together at Circomedia, the UK’s premier centre for circus with theatre. Drawing on their backgrounds in physical theatre, circus, street theatre and cabaret, they combine improvisation, clowning, slapstick, puppetry and music to produce a distinctive and visually inventive style of eccentric comedy theatre that attracts both young and old. This show is no exception and there is a little something for everyone.
